1. The service

Sea Bandits is an online multiplayer game operated by the Munk Studios Platform Network ("we", "us"). These terms cover the game (browser and downloadable client), your platform account, and this website. By creating an account or playing, you accept these terms.

2. Your account

One account per person. You are responsible for keeping your password secret and for everything done through your account. Account sharing, selling, or trading is not permitted. You must provide a working email address so we can reach you about your account. If you believe your account has been compromised, change your password immediately and contact us.

3. Conduct

Keep it piratical, not criminal. You may not: cheat, exploit bugs, or use automation/botting tools; harass, threaten, or abuse other players; impersonate staff; attack or disrupt the service (including denial-of-service, packet manipulation, or unauthorised access attempts); or use the game for anything unlawful. Bug reports are welcome — bug abuse is not, and knowingly exploiting one may cost you your account.

4. Premium & virtual items

Premium time, gold, and other in-game items are licensed to you, not sold: they have no real-world value, cannot be exchanged for money, and may be adjusted for balance reasons. Purchases are tied to your account and non-transferable.

Refunds: when you buy premium time, delivery begins immediately at your request; by completing a purchase you consent to immediate performance and acknowledge that the EU 14-day right of withdrawal therefore lapses once delivery has begun. If a purchase fails to apply to your account, contact us and we will make it right.

5. Fair play & enforcement

We may warn, mute, suspend, or permanently ban accounts that break these terms, and remove ill-gotten items or progress. Serious cases (fraud, attacks on the service) may be reported to the relevant authorities. Banned accounts are not entitled to refunds of prior purchases.

6. Availability & changes

The game is a living project: content, balance, and features change, and downtime happens (maintenance, updates, or events beyond our control). The service is provided "as is" without warranties. We may update these terms; material changes will be announced on this website, and continued play after a change means you accept it. If we ever discontinue the service permanently, we will give reasonable advance notice on this website.

7. Liability

To the extent permitted by law, our liability is limited to the amount you paid us in the twelve months before the event giving rise to the claim. Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot lawfully be limited.
